The day at Rainbow Beach

SYD loves to play anywhere. Even in trees.

 He was hoping more little children would come along the path. He loves it when they pat him. On the way back along the path he searched for little critters to chase but was kept on a short leash. He was in a National park after all, and that is a big no no. But he is a very good little doggy, very well behaved.

House to live in for a little while

 

 

 

This is where we are living for a little while (year or two) but only signed a 6 month lease and the house is for sale, so who knows how long we will be here. Bus is out the front for sale. Once it is sold, we will decide what and where we will be then. The house is very old upstairs and very new down stairs. It is also very comfortable too and non toxic with the last of the carpet being removed very soon. That room is closed off for the time being.

View from the top

We climber this timber fire watch tower on the first day of this new year. The view from the top was awsome. One of the rangers took us up there and into the hut and explained how the map/fire locator worked. Sorry I don't remember the right names of these things, but it was awsome and very good luck to have that experience. We even took SYD the dog with us. I had to carry him, he was not happy with the narrow steps and the height and easy to fall between the steps. I certainly got a workout, so did Derek, he carried our complete camera bag just in case he wanted to change lens's.
